Bangladesh E-Commerce Summit held in the capital on Saturday bringing together a large and diverse community of change-makers ecommerce experts and established retailers altogether and engaged with the foremost.

Bangladesh Brand Forum (BBF) organised the conference for first time of its kind at Le Meridian Dhaka. There were three keynote sessions, three panel discussions, four insight sessions, two case studies, fireside chat and deep dive session.

In his speech, Aspire to Innovate(A2i) programme’ head of ecommerce Rezwanul Haque Jami said the government is developing an integrated platform to brings all ecommerce companies under one platform to support the growth of the emerging business model.

“Ecommerce is future. To unleash the potential of the sector, A2i has developed a system to provide unique digital business identity and solve challenges with end-to-end solution. There is central complaint management system for convenient of verified customers,” he said.

BBF Founder Shariful Islam said Bangladesh has foreseen a very keen prospect regarding the e-commerce expansion based on the efficiency and ease of access revolving around it.

“The future will dictate the matured ecosystem to reach and support the overall industry with commitment,” he said.

Dotlines Group Chairman Mahbubul Matin made an insight session on democratising the ecommerce business in collaboration with financial technology and traditional businesses.
